February sucked for me.  I got the flu at the beginning of the month and was knocked on my ass for a good 2 weeks. Nothing worked. Nothing. I hurt so bad my mom went and bought me some cough syrup with codeine in it.  That was some awesome stuff. It got rid of my cough and congestion within days!

Then the side effects kicked in.

No one warned me that in some people, codeine causes depression. Horrible depression. I went to a place in my mind that I have kept at a great distance, a very dark place. I contemplated suicide several times during this episode. As you can see, I am not an idiot and didn't snuff it. I never would. It's selfish. The codeine didn't care tho. It just coursed thru my system, dragging me down further & further.

When I came out of it I knew I would never touch that stuff ever again. It was far too dangerous for me. I later researched it and found out that the depression side effects are rare for most. As Mister Bryce Case Jr. said, I am a rare Pokemon!

As for my art & stuff, I've been playing around with my camera, making my melted plastic creations (Which I will be posting soon.), and just goofing around with other mediums. I'm getting back on a workout schedule now that I can breathe properly.

I'm on my way to finding that happy place again.
